Confusion! 2017 N-Power Applicant Threatens To Join Armed Robbery Gang Over Failure To Make Pre-Selection List


The fuse generated by the recently released shortlist of successful applicants into the federal government social investment programme of the All Progressive Congress, APC-led federal  government has taken another dimension as one of the unsuccessful applicants, Sa'idu Sabo has taken to social media threatening to join armed robbery gang after failing to make the pre-selection list. 

Npower had recently announced the release of shortlist of successful applicants in the 2017 Npower recruitment exercise and advised applicants to proceed to their website to check their status.

But the applicant who claimed he was not successful took to Facebook to register his frustration by threatening to join armed robbery group as he is living in poverty with no capital to start a business.

Mr Sabo said: "Let me prepare to become an armed robber because I didn't pass pre-screening and I am in poverty, no money for business. What is your advice? 

He however got more than he bargained as most users who reacted on his post condemned him for nursing such idea and urged him to desist from engaging in any activity that is capable of ruining his life.

One of those users who reacted to the post, Uche Onwuama said the very fact that the poster is nursing the idea is a pointer that he has been desiring it for quite a long time.

"I don't know you in person but for coming out here to publicly declare your intention to join armed gang for failing to make the Npower shortlist speaks volume of the fact you may have been nursing such ambition long before now. Search your heart then.

Another user, Bello Hamza Danladi urged him to be careful with the kind of things he thinks and post on social media.

"Young man you better be careful with the kind of things that goes on in your heart and what you post online. Going by this post alone one can safely conclude that you are either into armed robbery already or a potential armed robber. You are a case of concern to security operatives for this post alone.

Yet some advised him to go ahead with his plan so that he can be apprehended soon, adding that people like him may have been performing the act unnoticed.
