One beneficiary said that there was no sincerity in the lady, wondering why it took her so long to visit N-Power office at the zonal or state level to explain the her position.

"I doubt this lady is being sincere here. How come it is at this time and at this event that she has chosen to expose herself. Why did it take this long to make the revelations. Imagine the irony. Some beneficiaries are working diligently but are being owed arrears while someone without a PPA is getting her alerts regularly and as at when due.

Yet for another beneficiary at the event, she deserve commendation for coming out to openly expose herself as it was rare to see such people nowadays.

"Let's not crucify this lady unjustly. There are many others like her in different states who are receiving the stipends for doing no work. We should rather blame the system for not being able detect such people and handling their issues without delay. She summoned the courage to come out and acknowledge that she was receiving money for doing nothing. We should not shame her but commend her for the show of courage and sincerity.

Reacting to her question, the state N-Power focal person instructed her to wait by the corner as her case was a special one that require special attention.

She charged volunteers to always expose anyone they know who is receiving money from N-Power but are not working in their assigned PPAs.
