2019: Electing Educated Prisoner Better Than Re-electing Buhari - Reno Omokri | CNR

Former presidential aide and pastor of the Mind of Christ Christian Centre, San Francisco, California United States, Reno Omokri has said that it would be better for Nigerians to elect one of the Nigerian prison inmates reported to be pursing degrees at the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN as president in 2019 than to re-elect President Mohammadu Buhari.

Mr. Omokjri argued that it was better to be governed by an educated person confined to the prison cell than a free uneducated man whose claimed WAEC certificate was still suspicious and a subject of controversy.

Omokri who served as former President Goodluck Jonathan's aide on Social Media pointed out that Mr. Buhari, a former military Head of State who was overthrown in a bloodless military coup in 1985 and returned to power 30 years later in 2015 did not improve himself like the prisoners during the 30 years.

He said: "I just read how 430 Nigerian prisoners are pursuing degrees at NOUN. Buhari was overthrown in 1985 and returned 30 years later. In those 30 years he did not improve himself like these prisoners. He did not further his education. No degree, no books written. Even his WAEC certificate is suspect.

He reminded his followers that praying and the Social Media alone cannot pull President Buhari out of office in 2019, adding that their greatest power was their Permanent Voters Card, PVC.

"Electing those prisoners is better than re-electing Buhari. So today, I remind you that Prayer points and social media have limited power to kick killer Fulani herdsmen and their cattle colony political sponsors out of power.

"But PVCs have unlimited power to kick them out of power forever. So don't go guns. Go for your PVC and change the useless change that Buhari and APC brought in 2015.
