APC has Nothing to Offer Nigerians, PDP will Defeat Them in Buhari's State - Secondus | CNR


The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus has boasted that the PDP will regain power in Katsina, home state of President Muhammadu Buhari in next year's election.

Secondus who stated this at a rally in Katsina, the state capital on Saturday while admitting decamping members into the party in the state said, the woeful performance of the APC government in the state and at the federal level makes victory of the PDP in the state an easy task even though it is President Buhari's home state.

In a statement by the Spokesman of the PDP National Chairman, Ike Abonyi, Mr. Secondus told the jubilant crowd who were shouting "A kori Yinwa ( let's chase out hunger) that they should be ready to vote out  APC and keep hunger out of their lives.

He noted that the Nigerians in the state are anxious to see off the APC hence their slogan 'lets chase put hunger in 2019' which to them is what the APC represents.

Prince Secondus told a mammoth crowd of PDP members and supporters that Nigerians can no longer endure the suffering brought about by the APC administration.

He told the rally organized by the North West zone of the party to formally welcome decamping members to the party that the APC has nothing to offer Nigerians.

"In katsina state APC has nothing to show outside what late Umaru Yar Adua and Ibrahim Shema did for you" he told the crowd.

"PDP is the only party that has the interest of the people at heart, it's the only party that will guarantee national unity"

Four PDP state governors, Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, Darius Ishaku of Taraba, Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom and Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe were top PDP leaders that graced the occasion.

All members of the National Working Committee NWC of the PDP, the BOT Chairman Senator Walid Jibrin, former Senate President Adolphus Wabara and other members of the National Executives Committee NEC attended the rally.
