Buhari has "Employed" 400,000 Graduates Through N-Power - Lai Mohammed | CNR
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has praised President Mohammadu Buhari for his Social Investment Programme, N-Power which has 'employed' 400,000 previously unemployed graduates from all states of the federation.
Mr. Mohammed said the programme and others are some of the numerous achievements of the President for which Nigerians will re-elect him in 2019.
N-Power is a youth empowerment programme of the federal government which engage the services of both graduates and non-graduates in health, teaching, agro and other categories for a contract period of two years after which beneficiaries will be dropped.

Mohammed who stated this when he visited some media organizations in the United States, U.S., added that the president has done well as there are achievements on ground to prove it, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports.
The Minister while highlighting the various achievements of the President Buhari-led administration, said the President has given job to 400,000 youths in addition to feeding 7.5 million Nigerians daily.
“We feed 7.5 million people every day and in the process, creating jobs across the value chain – thousands of cooks in 24 states have been employed.

“Again, our N-Power programme, they’ve never seen this kind of thing in Nigeria before where in one fell sweep, you employed 200,000 university unemployed graduate and another 200,000 have been screened and waiting to start work", Mr. Mohammed told NAN.
“Our government enterprise and empowerment programme has given out loans to about 200,000 cooperatives and individuals and our conditional cash transfer, today, has fed over 200,000 families.
“So these are the kinds of things we have done at a time when the price of crude oil was not as high as it was in 2011" he added.

To Mr pres buhari, sir. If I may ask, after the N-power program end what is the next plan for us, are you going to staff us or you are releasing us to go back to the street and start hustle all over? Or how can we start all over againg when we have already tasted monthly salary's payment for two years. Sir, Mr pres buhari. My advice to you and for you to be vote for in 2019 and for most of us not to join militant groups or BSD groups, just give we the N-power volunteers member permanent staff work.
