The 2017 selected volunteer from Kano State said the zeal and passion 2016 beneficiaries have shown in their quest for permanency should instead be channeled toward ensuring that 2017 selected beneficiaries get posted to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) and payment of their monthly stipends.

He vowed that 2017 selected applicants must resist and fight any effort by the 2016 beneficiaries to a standstill. adding that if they succeed through the Senate and Federal House of Representatives in their bid for permanency, 2017 selected beneficiaries will be either forgotten or thrown out of the programme.

"Anything out of this we will make sure to fight these their selfish struggle vehemently and resistively to standstill.

  1. Ibrahim Ahmed should fight for their posting and payments not to frustrate the existing volunteer because our success is the window of the 2017 preselected applicant's sure way of getting it done for them. I am also sensing a political push in this his statement from the opposition who don't want to see anything good in this administration of president Buhari. If not so why on earth will a fellow job seeker would garner mind to frustrate the success of the 2016 beneficiaries. This is the reason our governance had been back ward, that successive government keep wasting the effort of the predecessor. What will be wrong if this government eventually employed these set of graduates and the incoming one begins from where this present system end? Well let see how this will play out.

  2. If he refers to the existing volunteers as been selfish then what is he doing?
In 2016,the application was made open for unemployed youths. Some doubting Thomas refused to apply calling our government names, some considered the stipend too small for them while some applied but were not taken. Blessed are those who believe even without seeing is what I call the 2016 beneficiaries. We believed in our government that's why we refused to be discouraged by the stipend and rumours around then.

Our dear government did as they said and even equipped us with electronic devices to make our work easier and effective then you the Thomas eyes became open to apply.Do you know how long some of us worked before we started recieving our stipend? Instead of you to be patient with the government and pray for your own posting and payment like we did, you are busy exposing your selfishness to the whole world.

We volunteered to serve and the result is evident in the society. Therefore we have the right to ask for something better. That's what we are doing.
By God's grace our request will be granted.
