"The victory of President Buhari is a victory for poor and ordinary Nigerians who have been given a sense of belonging through the various National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs).

"As beneficiaries, we note with joy that this victory is a reflection of the overwhelming acceptance and legitimacy this administration is enjoying among Nigerians of all classes and social strata. We worked hard for his reelection because we saw it as a national assignment which every patriotic Nigerian must participate in.

"While we rejoice with President Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nigerians, we wish to draw the attention of Mr. President to our plea for absorption into federal civil service. Mr President, we are afraid of being thrown back to the streets in search of jobs that don't exit. We are most grateful to you for giving us a lifeline through N-Power. And it is our firm hope that as a father, you won't let your children down.

However, we are confident that the will of the people who massively voted for President Buhari will ultimately prevail", the statement read.

They urged N-Power volunteers to continue to support President Buhari and the APC, adding that every N-Power volunteer has moral obligation to support the government for it's people oriented initiatives and programmes.
