Biafra Protesters Besiege Buhari in London | CNR
Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB on Thursday in London staged a massive protest against the visiting Nigeria President Mohammadu Buhari.
The protest came shortly after the Queen of England, Elizabeth II declared the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting ( CHOGM) open during the opening ceremony.
President Buhari and other world leaders were in attendance at the ceremony.
The protesters bearing Biafran flags and placards besieged the venue demanding referendum for Biafran independence.
The obviously aggrieved protesters wielded placards with the inscriptions "Biafran Referendum Now!" and "Buhari Must Go".
