BREAKING: Dino Melaye Arrested | CNR

Senator Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi West) has been arrested by the police in Abuja.

Mr. Melaye was arrested this morning shortly after he arrived at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

According to post on his official Facebook page, the Senator was on his way to Morocco for an official engagement.

"I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in".

The Kogi West senatorial district senator is currently facing prosecution by federal government over his alleged involvement in an illegal possession of firearms and recall from the Senate.
