BREAKING: Police Arrests Senator Omo-Agege over Mace Theft | CNR
The Police has arrested Senator Ovie Omo-Agege over the stolen senator mace. Omo-Agege was arrested at the National Assembly premises on Wednesday.
Omo-Agege was whisked away in a black hilux van at about 1:54pm.
His arrested is in connection with the mace which was stolen by unknown thugs from the Senate chamber earlier today.
The Senate has, through its spokesman, Sabi Abdullahi accused Omo-Agege was leading the thugs into Senate chamber to forcefully make away with the Mace- the Senate's symbol of authority.
