IPOB: Govt Offices, Markets, Business, Others Places Deserted in Southeast



The sit-at-home order for September 14 issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB record total compliance in every towns and cities in South east and parts of South south Nigeria today.

IPOB ordered the sit-at-home to mark one year anniversary of Nigerian Army invasion of the home of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu on September 14, 2017 at his Afaraukwu home in Umuahia, Abia State.

IPOB, a nonviolent freedom movement for restoration of sovereign state of Biafra said the day will be used honour Biafrans killed in various parts of the region during Operation Python Dance II,  a military exercise carried out in the region in September 2017 to clamp down on "violent Biafran agitators".

The IPOB, Nnamdi is still missing the military invasion of his home.
