November 18: You Can't Dislodge Obiano With Your Blackmail - Nwankwo Tackles Obaze, Peter Obi

Following the allegation leveled Thursday September 21, 2017 against Governor Willie Obiano-led All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) government by Oseloka Obaze, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 18 Anambra guber election, over the poor condition of Nibo-Isiagu bypass road which Obaze was quoted to have said was an evidence that the current government has failed the people of the state, has been countered by a former President General of Nibo community, Okey Goodluck Nwankwo who said that Peter Obi, a former governor of the state should be blamed for his poor design of the road during his administration, adding Obaze was 'a pathological liar' for linking Obiano to the current state of the road, Vangurad reports.

Recall that Mr Obaze was reported to have said 'this problem was created by the current State government who issued license for a market at Nibo-Isiagu road, subsequently blocking the drainage channel'.

Obaze's journey was yesterday interrupted and had to follow alternative route due to heavy flooding that besieged Nibo-Isiagu bypass road. Obaze was quoted as saying 'government should solve problem and not create them'.

Reacting to the statement by Mr Obaze, a former president general of Nibo community and secretary to Governor Willie Obiano's campaign flag off committee said Obaze hoped to use blackmail to dislodge Obiano from office, adding that the road for which he (Obaze) criticized governor Obiano was done by Peter Obi.

Mr Nwankwo said that 'Oseloka Obaze and his godfather Mr Peter Obi should bury their heads in shame for executing substandard projects that cannot withstand the test of time in Anambra state'.

In his words"Obiano should not be blamed for the flood wrecking havoc on us. Peter Obi should take all the blames for having a poor design. I commend the hard work of Obiano and his attitude of cleaning Mr Peter Obi' mess in Anambra state.
