NNPC Scandal: Omokri To Kachikwu: By Now, You Must Have Learnt How Not To Report A Demon To The Devil

Pastor of the Mind of Christ Christian Centre and media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has said that the new twist that the NNPC corruption scandal has taken must have taught the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu "that you do not report a demon to the devil and expect the demon to be disciplined for his evil ways". 

Omokri, the San Francisco, California United States based pastor said that in the process, any attempt to report the demon for punishment will have an adverse effect as the demon will end up getting promotion while the one who reported him get demoted, adding that Mr Kachikwu must have been naive to think that Maikanti Baru, the embattled Group Managing Director, GMD of the Nigerian National Peetroleum Corporation, NNPC could write  him such an insulting response without President Buhari's approval.

In an article published under the caption "Mohammadu Buhari: Commander in Chief of the 97% Forces" in his weekly column, TheAlternative on ThisDay Newspaper of today, October 14, 2017, Mr Omokri said the current NNPC $26 million has gone down in the annals of history as the biggest corruption scandal in Africa.

"Last week I wrote about what has turned to be the biggest corruption scandal in African history- the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation $26 billion can of worms.

"Little did I know when writing that piece that the matter would enter into another absurd stage. Maikanti Baru, the Group Managing (Damaging)  Director of the NNPC caused a response to be made to Ibe Kashikwu which prove that both Kachikwu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo are mere figure heads.

"Essentially, Mr Baru's defense in the saga is that he got approval from president Buhari to bypass the NNPC board and award the congrats at a time that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was supposed to be acting President.

He noted that if Baru's claim that President Buhari approved the contracts from his London sickbed was anything to go by, it then follows that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, then as acting President was only acting a Presidential movie.

"If what Baru said is true and President Mohammadu Buhari approved contracts from his London sickbed, then what Presidency was Osinbajo acting? Presidential movie?

Omokri reminded Ibe Kachikwu of his (Omokri's) earlier assertion that Kachikwu will loose the battle, adding that he must have learnt the bitter lesson that a demon should not be reported to the devil.

"And by now, Kachikwu must have learnt a bitter lesson that you do not report a demon to the devil and expect the demond to be disciplined for his evil ways.

"In fact, the more wicked the demon is the more influence he wields with the devil. Report him and he gets promoted and you get promoted.
