Radio Biafra Hausa: Fani-Kayode Writes Nnamdi Kanu, Says Lion Of The East Shall Roar Again

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain has written the missing leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, saying that he is needed in the country more now than ever before.

The emotion-laden letter came just hours after IPOB, through its spokesman, Emma Powerful announced the launch of its Hausa radio service that target indigenous and ethnic populations of Northern Nigeria and other Hausa speaking communities in West, East, and Southern Africa.

Mr. Fani-Kayode, a known friend and vocal supporter of the Biafran-liberation-struggle leader praised Mr. Kanu in his letter, describing him as "bold", "irrepressable", and "unbeatable".

He wrote: "How I miss you brother. We need you now more than ever before. Wherever you are and whatever they did to you, you shall live forever.

"Your sun shall never set but it shall rise again. Your courage and love for your people is humbling and second to none. You sacrificed everything and risked all for them.

"You refused to abandon your noble cause, prostitute your principles, bow before the slavemasters or kiss the feet of the tyrant.

"You are bold. You are irrepressable. You are unbeatable. You are strong. You shall never be forgotten.

"The Lion of the East will roar again", Mr. Fani-Kayode said.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB was declared missing following the Nigerian Army invasion of his home in Umuahia Southeast of Nigeria in the wake of a military campaign by the Nigerian Army code-named " Operation Python Dance" in Nigeria's Southeast region in September, 2017.
