Writing in a letter to the Editor of CNR Nigeria, Mmaduka who  stirred controversy after revealing his intention to abstain from duties unless N-Power punishes beneficiaries who do not go to their places of assignment but receives monthly stipend, said he has suspended the planned industrial action.

He noted that the move to sack the erring volunteers have justified his earlier position that it was wrong for anyone to reap where he did not sow, adding that in response to the news, he has cancelled his planned strike action.

"I write to notify you that I have decided to cancel my planned strike action which I vowed to commence as a protest to N-Power inability to punish beneficiaries who abandoned their duty posts. Recall that in my personal letter to your organization in Wednesday August 22 2018, I made known my intention to protest inability of N-Power to punish defaulters by embarking on indefinite industrial action.

"It is important to state here that the recent sack of 7 corrupt volunteers in Adamawa state is a justification of my position which is that it is wrong for one to reap where he or she did not sow. I have been vindicated and I hope they will expose and punish more of them.

"I wish to commend N-Power for such a bold step. I hope that those who insulted me on social media will be forced swallow their own words. I will appreciate it if you publish the content of this letter so that N-Power authorities will know that I have suspended the planned action and have no intention of doing so anymore", the letter read.
