IMPORTANT: 6 Things Every 2017 N-Power Applicant Must Note After Physical Verification

At least by now, every successful pre-selected applicant who is currently doing their physical verification and those that have completed theirs, are familiar with the phrase "Pre-selection does not equal final selection". Pre-selection of applicants is the third stage (after online registration and online assessment exercise) in the N-Power recruitment process.

What that means is that, having presented your credentials and other required documents at your local government of residence,  you have now entered the final selection stage in the selection process.

We have therefore  taken time to highlight other things applicants must note as they awaits the final list of successfully selected beneficiaries.

#1: Screening of submitted credentials: Designated N-Power officials at the local government secretariat will now embark on thorough screening of all credentials and documents submitted by applicants. In the process, under-aged persons and over-aged persons, forged credentials and documents, incomplete credentials and documents, credentials and documents with discrepancies in name and other sensitive details will be carefully sorted out. While those that are complete and in order will be selected for the final list of successfully selected beneficiaries into the 2017 N-Power graduate recruitment exercise.

#Release of final list: The final list of successfully selected beneficiaries will be released at the zonal headquarters of the beneficiary's local government area of residence. The final list usually contains the name of the beneficiary, serial number, type of highest educational qualification (B.Sc, BA, B.Ed, MA, M.Sc, HND etc.), beneficiary's discipline, and the Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) where the beneficiary has been posted to work, especially for those in N-Teach category.

#Documentation: Having made the final list of successfully selected beneficiaries, the next necessary stage is to open beneficiary's official file at the zonal office where you are required to submit all claimed credentials and documents for official and record purposes.

#Issuance of Appointment letter: After opening your file at the zonal headquarters, selected beneficiaries are issued appointment letter which must be duplicated for the zonal office, your PPA, and your personal copy.

#Proceed to your place of primary assignment: Proceed to your PPA to sign the resumption letter waiting for you there and immediately resume your assigned duties without delay. By this time, you have been  cleared and your details forwarded to N-Power headquarters in Abuja for the payment of your stipend. Your phone is now ready to beep for stipend alert.
