Fani-Kayode Tackles Gov Bello Over Herdsmen Killing of 25 People in Kogi | CNR


Former Aviation Minister and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode has criticised governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello over the killing of 25 citizens of his state by marauding Fulani herdsmen.

Writing on his Twitter handle Thursday, Fani-Kayode, a known vocal critic of President Mohammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, said he hoped that governor Bello, a staunch supporter of Buhari is happy with incident in his state.

He twitted: " Fulani herdsmen killed 25 people in Kogi state today and abducted two WAEC officials in Oyo.

"I sincerely hope that the Governor of Kogi state, who is a staunch supporter of Buhari, is clapping for himself.

"Those who ride on tiger's back usually end up in its stomach", Fani-Kayode twitted.

This is coming following reports that herdsmen attacked communities in Dekina and Omala local government areas of Kogi state, killing 25 persons.

Villagers were reportedly fleeing the affected areas to safer places.

The latest attack is coming just weeks after Governor Bello reportedly declared his support for, and provided land for the federal government proposed Cattle colonies, as solution to continued herdsmen-farmers clashes.
